Nowadays people are getting more and more concerned that the most essential subject in school is a literature. While some people consider that there are more interesting and useful subjects than literature. I would like to express my point of view on this problem.
In my opinion, literature is the most important subject. To start with, reading the books is an interesting and fascinating pastime. Literature develops your imagination and creativity. Secondly, books are the best teachers for you. When you read, you learn on characters’ mistakes. And last but not least, literature improves your educability.
However, some people have the opposite opinion. They think that the most actual subject in a modern life is information technology. Digital literacy is a basis of our future. What is more, biology and chemistry are the best friends of medicine and doctors.
I cannot support this point of view because personally I cannot imagine my life without books. I like reading foreign and russian literature.
In conclusion I would like to state that there would seem to be clear pros and cons to both options, but personally I included more to the opinion that literature is an unreplaced and important subject for people.
