More and more schoolchildren tend to spend a year after their school on the preparation to their future profession and delay their studying at university, while others believe that people should study at university just in the same year when they passed exams. Let us consider this issue from different angles.
In my opinion, the best solution for school leavers is to take a gap year. Firstly, they have much time to think about their profession more quite, so they can change the area of knowledges if they want. Secondly, they can spend their time on themselves as well as have a rest from their last exams at school. That is why, there is less chances to get depression and alike diseases.
However, others consider that such a position is wrong. As for them, at university people become disciplined, because it’s so difficult to be lazy when you have so much to do.
Furthermore, I completely disagree with this opinion. I believe that if you can not do important things that you don’t want to do, studying at university will not help you to gain such a skill. In addition, you can fall behind with the curriculum because of it.
Taking everything into consideration I would say that the issue is complicated but I think that the additional year after school can help people in their future life.
