Nowadays, the problem of replacing printed books causes intense controversy. Some people claim that books will be replaced by digital technologies, while others think that it is not going to happen. I would like to express my opinion on this problem.
In my view, the future of education is behind the computers. Firstly, with the Internet access a student can get a lot of information, while books cannot provide it. Secondly, computers have a lot of features and benefits which can make the education process more fascinating for students. They can not only read something but also watch documentary films, do projects and use educational programs or games.
However, there exists another point of view on this issue. It is said that computers will never replace books. The main reason is that a printed book is better for human eyes than a computer screen.
Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it. An eyesight does not be damaged, if a student looks away from a screen regularly. Moreover, there are some eye exercises that prevent from blurred vision.
In conclusion, even though there are different points of view, I believe that computers will be widely used in the future education, while books will not be needed.
